The Dodos announce tour supporting Mew

The Dodos have announced North American tour dates for this Fall, supporting Mew, September 17 through October 11, along with a performance at Otalith Music Festival in British Columbia, Canada. The San Francisco duo will first do a special hometown performance at The Academy of Science on July 9, all in continued support of their sixth full-length album, Individ, which arrived in January 2015.

Individ is the opening of a new chapter for the Dodos, recorded right on the heels of 2013’s Carrier, writing the material as they went, quickly, without questioning, drawing on instinct and the knowledge one gains from performing with the same person for nearly a decade.
