ps goner announces his debut album there’s an atm inside with the lead single “wind on the horizon”, accompanied by a music video by Cole Kush. The forthcoming album will be released on April 3rd via SHHOAMKEE Records.
ps goner is another musical project from Peter Sagar (aka HOMESHAKE), known for his singular blend of intimacy, atmosphere, and emotional precision. Across a constantly evolving catalogue, Sagar has followed instinct over expectation, shaping deeply personal music that resists easy categorization. His new album, there’s an atm inside, marks a clear departure into a different world; alternative country, trading hazy synths for steel guitars, piano and songcraft rooted in Americana – recorded entirely to cassette. Speaking on the lead single, Peter shares: “wind on the horizon is about what comes after the end. maybe you don’t belong here anymore, but you belong somewhere else, and now you’re free to find it.”
The sound of the original recording has been preserved as closely as possible, however due to its high resolution, the audio can reveal limitations of the source tape.
