Listen to “i wish i could rip off this old face”
“i wish i could rip off this old face” a stark ballad that highlights the plaintive, melody-forward side of EKKSTACY. Pairing a reverberating vocal with a lone acoustic guitar, the song is a beautiful first release from the forthcoming deluxe edition of Forever.
EKKSTACY says, “When I was 10 I thought I was ugly. I’m 23 now, I still find myself ugly. This song explores self image issues that I’ve been dealing with since I can remember.”
EKKSTACY is set to tour the EU and UK before the end of 2026, performing shows in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Dublin and beyond. It marks the end of a huge year which saw the release of Forever as well as huge festival dates across the world, as well as multiple high-profile interviews with Billboard, PAPER and King Kong.
