Store Day Black Friday. Today, the label unveils a few of the exciting Record Store Day Black Friday exclusives the Dine Alone Records Store will feature, alongside titles from the label’s robust, award-winning roster, a selection of curated titles from other labels, as well as signed records, artist & label merchandise and special Dine Alone releases. To celebrate Black Friday,  Dine Alone is taking “dead” formats to new levels with two 8 track releases, a cassette and almost 20 exclusive vinyl variants. For the first time ever, Dine Alone will be offering 8 track releases starting with a collection of 9 covers from The Dirty Nil, recorded during The Master Volume sessions. You’re Welcome features covers, some previously unreleased, from The Jesus And Mary Chain, David Bowie, April Wine, Cheap Trick, The Who, Metallica, Big Star, Culture Abuse, and Van Halen. Manufactured on dead stock red Radio Shack tapes, You’re Welcome will be limited to only 15 copies.

The second 8 track celebrates the 1 year anniversary of Dead Heavens’ Whatever Witch You Are. A one-time pressing of 25 copies will be available. Guitarist and renowned painter Paul Kostabi hand painted unique covers for each copy.

A throwback to the live bootleg tape trading community, Tokyo Police Club have recorded and designed a new, live cassette-only release titled Eight Songs Live. Limited to 50 copies the cassette features hand scratched tapes and covers printed at Dine Alone HQ.

To mark 10 years since its release, Dine Alone will release a brand new pressing of Arkells’ breakout album Jackson Square on clear vinyl housed in a screen printed jacket. The one-time anniversary pressing will be individually hand-numbered out of 300.

Dine Alone has also pressed exclusive variants to celebrate its two contributions to Record Store Day Black Friday; Attack in Black Got Live If You’re Interested and a 10 Year Anniversary pressing of The Curve Of The Earth. A collection of 10 songs performed live across Canada between 2007-2010, Got Live If You’re Interested includes 3 previously unreleased songs and alternate takes never recorded in a studio. The album is pressed on opaque yellow vinyl and limited to only 100 copies. The Curve Of The Earth was the follow-up to the band’s critically acclaimed debut LP Marriage and has been pressed on solid white, limited to 300 and only available at the Dine Alone Records Store.

All exclusive offers will be split up for sale between Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24.

Alongside the Pop-up record store, Dine Alone will turn its venue space into a Flea Market on Saturday, November 24, featuring various vendors of clothing, art, unique accessories and other curiosities including Sheet Happens, Emily May Rose, The Button Machine, Last Wishes Supply, Successful Press, All Sorts Press, Spellcaster, Friday’s Child, Platinum Playhouse, Gypsy Dream Weaver, Brittpaperscissors, Natalie Very B, and  Alt & Roh. Popular custom ink shop Seven Crowns Tattoo and its coveted “purveyors of the finest tattoos” George Brown and Matthew Ellis, will also be on hand for a special Tattoo Pop-Up on Tuesday, November 27 and Wednesday, November 28.

One of the top independent labels boasting major industry awards and accolades, Dine Alone opened its doors to the public for the first time for RSD on April 21, resulting in long line-ups around the block, and a nod from NOW Magazine as one of the five best Record Store Day events of 2018.
