“While The Sheepdogs are known for their old-school revivalist rock ‘n’ roll, as BROS, the pair explore some very different musical stylings that are unexpected and downright fun.” – Exclaim!

“It’s the sound of The Sheepdogs cutting loose, experimenting and expanding their musical range.” – CBC

(December 1, 2020  – Toronto, ON) – Vintage rock duo BROS – Ewan and Shamus Currie, front man and keyboardist for platinum-selling Canadian band The Sheepdogs – have just announced A Very Bros Christmas Vol. 2, their festive follow-up to 2017’s A Very Bros Christmas Vol. 1. The EP will be available December 1 via Dine Alone Records, HERE.

Says Ewan about the festive EP, “Now more than ever people need a little Christmas cheer in their life, so we decided to make our second foray into the world of original Christmas music. It’s been a tough year so we decided to lean into the party side of the season. Merry Christmas!”

Ewan and Shamus’ side project has enjoyed much praise since its inception with American Songwriter calling the first single from their debut LP, “Tell Me” , a ‘funky, sultry, ’70s-style track.’  “Tell Me” charted in the Top 30 at Alternative and Active Rock Radio in Canada and has been synced by ESPN US, SportsNet, Hockey Night in Canada, Toronto Blue Jays, and is the new theme music for CBC q. The track has also enjoyed In-arena syncs with the Denver Broncos, Minnesota TimberwolvesNew Orleans PelicansMinnesota WildColorado Avalanche and Minnesota Twins.

BROS will perform during MusiCounts UnSilent Night on December 10. The event runs from 8-9:30pm ET on Facebook Live with proceeds from each ticket helping sustain music education.

BROS are currently readying a new album to be released in 2021. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
