Director of Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with new damage and dine alone artists and their management on building and executing marketing plans worldwide
  • Work with other marketing staff to contribute relevant ideas and experience to their projects and help oversee the marketing staff.
  • Utilize your network (and Dine Alone’s) to commission content and marketing assets (including video, artwork, photos, audio, remixes).
  • Diligent management of release budgets, marketing commitments and commercial performance tracking.
  • Communicate about your releases to colleagues and executive team on a regular basis.
  • Understand and manage online advertising campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, AdWords etc.), create KPI reports and evaluate client ROI alongside the team.
  • Developing insights and awareness on current marketing and industry trends and best practices.
  • Working with Digital and Physical Sales and Distribution teams on commercial sales targets and performance.  Securing visibility in both physical, digital and streaming retail and platform environments.
  • Evaluate campaign successes and present back to internal stakeholders
  • Help develop organizational systems for reporting and general asset collection and delivery
  • Provide guidance and management to certain marketing staff as broken out in the company’s org chart.  You will be responsible for reviewing these employees and checking in on their projects and progress in general.
  • Be involved with A&R for both New Damage Records and Dine Alone Records

Executive Assistant

If you’re an Executive Assistant (EA) who likes to make important and tough operations run smoothly and has experience in a organizing all aspects of a person schedule and doing it with a smile, then we have a great opportunity for you.

This position ensures the smooth running of the President’s office and will maintain excellent business relationships with members of the company, potential clients, as well as key suppliers and partners. The EA role is critical to the ongoing growth and reinforcement of a artist-focused and service-oriented culture within the company, so natural ability to anticipate needs, stellar interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of people at all levels and groups is essential. A diplomatic approach and outgoing, engaging style are crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate incoming meetings and initiate action.
  • Assess urgency and sensitivity, advising President on important matters and anticipating issues for other managers.
  • Work with the President and other managers to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy of artist matters are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Ensure documents that require signature are correct, all relevant upcoming information is conveyed and logged, and that backup is available for the Presidents review.
  • Prepare a variety of materials such as PowerPoint presentations, draft emails, reports, agendas and letters with and without review.
  • Coordinate critical issues management and ensure that the President is properly briefed.
  • Oversee projects as assigned by the President and company, collating data, compiling information and growing ideas.
  • Research and prepare appropriate responses to a variety of complex issues and requests.
  • Provide support to the company, as needed.
  • Organize meetings and travel itineraries for the President
  • Maintain President’s schedule ensuring conflicts are identified and managed.
  • Manage all details associated with the President’s meetings, including agenda setting, creating and tracking action items, etc.
  • Take and transcribe accurate minutes of President’s internal and external meetings as well as distribute minutes on a timely basis.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and knowledge priorities and internal relationships in order to respond to meeting requests.
  • Provide administrative support other managers, as necessary.
  • Act as President’s contact for teleconference provider to organize conference calls.
  • Maintain and update the President’s contact database.
  • Accommodate flexible meeting schedules, such as arriving early/staying late for various meetings.

Additional Assets:

  • Proficient with Excel
  • Quickbooks. Accounting experience or knowledge of accounts payable/receivable is an asset.
  • Works with Mac computers

Retail / Customer Service (Dine Alone Store)

Seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy individual with retail experience for a full-time position in our Dine Alone storefront. The ideal candidate will be energetic, passionate about music, broad-minded, and friendly, with above-average communication skills.

Candidates who will be seriously considered MUST genuinely enjoy meeting and conversing with new people from all walks of life and should exhibit patience and goodwill towards fellow human beings.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales
  • Build the bond between consumer and brand by providing superior service and adapting brand stories to the retail setting
  • Maintain knowledge of store products and be available to operate cash register for regular transactions, perform shipping and receiving duties, stock the floor, perform cleaning duties, and assist in store events when necessary
  • Inventory management, merchandise forecasting & event organization

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills; experience in direct customer service/sales is a bonus!
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
