Dicey Hollow began as an excuse for old friends Petter Ericson Stakee (of Alberta Cross) and Jamie Biden to finally get together and create some music. That excuse was a friend’s film that needed a score and off they went. Although the film never got completed, the two were inspired by the collaboration and kept writing together.

Whenever time allowed them both to escape the city, they would head to Mt. Tremper in Upstate New York to write and demo the songs that would make up their self-titled EP, Dicey Hollow. Once they had 6 songs, they returned and self-produced the material over a week’s time at studios in NYC and Brooklyn.

The result of their collaboration is a brand of cinematic rock rooted in harmonies, sirenic guitar lines, spaced out synths, and plenty of pedal steel to go around. Dicey Hollow will be released on July 10th via Dine Alone Records.
