Land of Talk premieres “Loving” on The FADER

Today, Land of Talk has shared its third single off the long-awaited new album Life After Youth, “Loving.” The song premiered this morning via The FADER alongside an interview, where Elizabeth Powell shared insight into the band’s seven-year hiatus and what helped inspire their return. Co-written with and featuring the heavenly harmonies of Sharon Van Etten, Life After Youth will be released on May 19th and can be pre-ordered here.

Produced and mixed by John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth) and Jace Lasek (Besnard Lakes), and featuring Sharon Van Etten, Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), Sal Maida (Roxy Music/Sparks), and The Besnard Lakes, the album is a collection of songs that sees Powell in the finest voice of her career, and reuniting with original Land of Talk drummer Bucky Wheaton. Praise for the new tracks has been widespread New York Magazine Vulture named the recent single “This Time” a Best New Song, and NPR Music’s All Songs Considered premiered Life After Youth’s stirring first single “Inner Lover.”
