Jimmy Eat World wants you to tell their story!

The history of Jimmy Eat World is a lengthy one, only to be made longer by the release of their upcoming album, Damage, and the slew of tour dates surrounding it. Rather than have their story written from the usual perspective of a biography, the band wants fans to play an equally large part in the telling of their legacy.

Over a four-day period starting Tuesday, May 1, the band will be asking fans to submit their favourite Jimmy Eat World memories via Twitter to add to their bio. Once enough tweets are curated, the band will send out the final Damage-centric section, including the recording of the album and other similar content. By the end of the week, fans will have contributed to the story of Jimmy Eat World 140 characters at a time.
